The Downtown Walking Tour covers a century of buildings, and the tour begins on Central Avenue, which features the majority of landmark buildings in Swift Current.
 
Buildings on Central Ave include the Modern Restaurant, the York Hotel and the Imperial, which is the oldest commercial business and the oldest building in Swift Current.
