Swift Current offers wide open spaces and scenic trails. One of the defining features of the City is Swift Current Creek. Chinook Pathway runs alongside the creek and offers 22 km of trails.

Swift Current has three major golf courses located within a half hour drive. The courses include Chinook Golf Course, Elmwood Golf and Country Club, and Sask Landing Golf Resort.

Swift Current is located in Southwest Saskatchewan and lies in the heart of the Great Southwest, providing visitors with a choice of five destination areas: Big Muddy, Cypress Hills, Grasslands, Great Sandhills and Lake Diefenbaker.
